The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has released the more than 30,000 vacancies for the post of Constable, Sub Inspector, and Head constable posts. They aim at selecting dedicated and talented candidates by conducting various selection processes. To select the candidate, the authorities of the UP Police Constable Recruitment Board will organize the Physical Endurance Test, written exam, and medical exam. So, candidates who want to make their career as the Inspector in the government police must grab this commendable opportunity as soon as possible. As per various reports, the authority of the UP Police Constable will the application form in January. While they will declare the result in the month of June. Details of Vacancy
Recently the Supreme Court has passed a job notification for recruiting candidates for the post of Police Constable. Hence, UPPRPB will recruit more than 1 lac candidates for constable posts in the upcoming year. In order to strengthen the power of the UP Police Department. To select the candidate, the DGP of the Up Police will conduct a written examination i.e., PET/PST Test which is mandatory for the Police Constable Recruitment process.

Eligibility Criteria for UP Police Recruitment 2017

To apply for UP Police Constable Posts, the applicant must have cleared the 12th Class. Therefore, they must possess the pass certificate for the 12th Class from any recognized institute.
The candidate are required to pay an application fees for the UP Police that is of 200INR (for all the categories).
The candidate can pay it through E-Challan, and Debit Card, Credit Card, and Internet Banking mode.
The selection of the candidate will be based on the scores in 10th, 12th and on the basis of race. Candidate can also get the information about the selection process from here as well as from the notification.
The selected candidate will get a salary of 5,200INR to 20,200INR along with the grade pay of 2,000INR.

- Height of the male candidate: 168cm
- Weight: he or she must have 50 kg of weight.
- Chest: 79cm
- For Female Candidate,
- Height: 152cm
- Weight: Minimum of 40Kg weight
Physical Efficiency test: Candidate who wants to apply for the UP Police Constable post must meet the cutoff.
For male candidate, the candidate requires to complete the 4.8Km race in 27 minutes whereas if the candidate completes the 4.8km race in 17 minutes then he /she will get 200 marks. Whereas if he or she complete the race in 27 minutes then he or she will get 120 marks.
For Female candidate, the target is to complete 2.4Kms race in 16 minutes and if she completes 2.4km race in 11 minutes then she will get 200 marks. Whereas if the candidate completes the race in 16 minutes then he will get 120 marks
UP Police Computer Operator Recruitment 2017
The UP Police department requires 666 candidates for the Backlog Computer Operator process. They are planning to recruit 360 candidates from OBC category, 280 candidates for SC Category and 26 candidates for ST category.
Qualification Required for UP Police Computer Operator post:
Candidate must have pass certificate of 12th Class and must have computer knowledge certificate along with it.
The minimum age is 18 years
Maximum age- 30 years
The selected candidate will get a salary of 34,800INR.
