There are different roles within the administrative and management division of an educational institution. The crucial ones are the Principal, Vice-Principal, Director and Manager. Although you do not possess a prior experience as an administrator, you are expected to have a long list of experience in any field relevant to the job. A school manager is also an administrative assistant who takes care of all the office tasks related to the working of the school and will directly report to the Principal. Hence, all skills listed above will apply to all the administrative roles.

  • Magnify any accomplishments that would speak about your managerial skills or leadership abilities.
  • Since these are the top-most positions in an educational organization, be as professional as you can in your resume. Choose the template, styles and fonts wisely to reflect your professionalism.
  • Omit unnecessary information or accomplishments that are irrelevant to the applying job.
  • Move less relevant information to the bottom of the resume.
  • Stress any certifications or training acquired that would benefit the applied role.
